The Premise

HeartLight guides corporations toward an awakening or expansion of Corporate Consciousness. This involves learning new ways to make decisions by using individual and corporate creativity and new means to identify problem areas. This is achieved by developing management awareness about two aspects of a corporation that can effect everything on all levels. One aspect is the group impact of the “Shadow-Me”, the other aspect of the group is the “Real-Me“ of the corporation. Both aspects have tremendous impact on the corporate culture and operations, thus impacting profits and sustainability.

The Shadow-Me contains thoughts, feelings and decisions to act, experienced in each individual and between employees, that create automatic habits and responses involving unnecessary aggressive behavior, opinionated and judgmental attitudes, irritating behavior patterns, fears and insecurities limiting creative output, as well as patterns of crisis at home or within the corporate department.

The Real-Me expresses the highest ideals of the individual and the corporation, unhindered by the resistance and continuous interference of the Shadow-Me aspect. It is the art of life to create space for the Real-Me to develop in the world. The Real-Me is harmoniously focused on achieving its ideal purpose while the Shadow-Me seeks to repeat ineffective and negative patterns that limit growth and responsibility for the role of the corporate entity within the global community.

This process of developing corporate consciousness involves a realistic observation of how the behaviors, decisions, and processes are working or not working in relationship to the Real-Me corporate ideals. Viewing, acknowledging and accepting is the first step for change. This awakens a potential solution within the process. Patterns of decisions and interactions among workers and the outer community speak messages that need to be heeded that a spiritual quality is either being compromised or is seeking to be expanded in that area. It is possible to address ineffective patterns individually and on a group level, and transform them into greater productivity on all levels.

The goal is to attain inner knowledge of life and higher potentials for the Corporate-Self. To achieve this, various techniques are used including an amazing way to develop healthy conversation between individuals and corporate groups. Another technique to access the Real-Me of the corporation is through specifically designed artistic activities. Such activities can bridge to the unkown, illuminating the individual or the group with new perceptions. We find it is very effective in achieving expanded perceptions within each corporate community to use communal sound, shape images in clay, practice inspirational movement, as well as exploring color and creativity.

A central role in this awakening process is the development of true empathy within the corporate environment. By working with true empathy virtuous actions are taken towards others that encompass freedom, and reflect the important ingredient for management success: respect and willingness to listen.

The higher ideals of the corporation need to be identified and/or clarified for management and employees. This means creating a focus which will elevate or expand qualities that were established by the founders, or the corporate boardroom, or sometimes in specific departments. The conscious decision to work with these ideals and involve them in any decision making process will lead to the radiating expansion of the spirit and soul of the corporation. This leads to the natural development of the Corporate-Heart, from which a new light of consciousness can be released among management and employees into the outer world.

HeartLight achieves success through encouraging corporations to focus on three primary areas:

1. Know Yourself: This self learning processes discovers the current status of the Real-Me vs the Shadow-Me aspects of the corporation and connection with employees.

2. Know the World: Gain knowledge about the interactions with the outer world. The emphasis is on experience.

3. Know how to manifest corporate ideals in the World: This involves consciously striving to bring the outer world into harmony with the Corporate-Self, so that the higher goals are met in corporate life and business procedures.
